Hysterics as Woman Suddenly Realizes Why Her Dog Hasn't Moved for Hours

The moment a woman thought something was wrong with her puppy, only to learn the surprising truth, has been reshared online four years after the incident occurred.

Originally posted in 2020 by user @meghanandsteve, footage of the moment Australian shepherd puppy Steve was acting strangely during a car ride once again prompted laughter.

The original video has amassed over 7 million views since its first appearance and recently, dog owner Meghan decided to revisit the clip in a new repost, which has already been viewed thousands of times.

In the clip, Meghan explained: "So I had to use this life jacket for Steve because he was too small to fit in his harness, and it's like this really strong Velcro. As I was driving back to Colorado, he was on the floor of the car and didn't move for like hours—and I was like, I'm going to have to turn this car around and get a refund because something's wrong with this dog."

But it was then that she explained she found the problem: "Yeah. I soon realized that he was Velcroed to the floor," she said.

In the video, the tiny Australian shepherd is lying calmly on the floor of the car, unwittingly stuck in place thanks to the strong Velcro on the life jacket.

"Omg you had me laughing like a crazy person right now," said viewer Erika.

TikToker Llama_stats wrote: "Aussies (especially puppies) are simultaneously the most and least bothered dogs. They're either totally chill or the windshield wipers killed your mom. There's no in between."

"Poor Steve," laughed Sailor Sakura. "That's adorable."

Australian shepherds, often referred to as "Aussies," are medium-sized herding dogs known for their intelligence and energy. Despite the name, the breed was developed in the U.S, not Australia, primarily for herding livestock.

It is no surprise that Meghan was confused when Steve was being so quiet, as the breed is famous for its high energy and playful nature.

Steve was completely fine after the sticky incident, and the reminder of the incident that took place four years ago delighted many once again.

"Omg Bahahaha!!! That is so sad for Steve and so hilarious for me," viewer Trouble wrote in the comments.

While BusyBeaBee said: "That's a way to keep him contained!! Velcro to the floor."
