Watch Touching Moment Pregnant Cat 'Asks for Help' Delivering Her Babies

Social media viewers have fallen in love with an unusual-looking cat that pleaded with her owner for support when delivering her babies.

Snow Savannah cat Khaleesi lives in the United States with her owner, Natalie King, a certified animal breeder specializing in purebred Savannah cats. The unusual breed is a hybrid, a cross between domestic cat breeds and a wildcat species, according to the Purina website. They are known for their highly inquisitive and friendly nature and are recommended for owners experienced with cats.

To King, Khaleesi is a "cherished family member," she told Newsweek, and it's clear the snow-spotted feline feels safe and loved around her because she let her know when it was time for her to have a litter.

A July 15 video shared to King's TikTok account, @kingsavannahs, showed how she "refuses to give birth alone."

In the clip, the mother cat stands in a shielded crate to give her privacy and meows at King before heading in toward her nesting box, keeping a close eye on her owner as if to make sure she's following.

When she sees King coming closer, blue-eyed Khaleesi darts into the nesting box, which is filled with soft, warm blankets, in preparation for the birth.

King assures her, "I'm coming with you," and Khaleesi can be heard purring as she leans in for head scratches.

King told Newsweek that Khaleesi's unique appearance and "charming personality" have "captured the hearts of viewers," and this is seen by the response to the clip, which has 680,000 likes.

Thousands commented on the sweet video, with one writing: "Birth is so scary. She's so loving and trusting with you it's so beautiful."

Another said, "I had a cat that wanted me to hold her paw while she delivered, it was such a special moment."

Another admitted: "I'm not a cat person, but that's the prettiest cat I've ever seen."

King told Newsweek that Khaleesi had "five beautiful babies, some snow color like she is and some brown spotted."

Now young adult cats, most of Khaleesi's litter have gone to family homes, while two are "cat show-bound as they represent the breed impeccably," King said.

Both of the show-bound cats are brown-spotted Savannah cats, not the "unique white-snow-spotted of their mom," she said. "The snow color is actually not allowed to compete in the [International Cat Association] cat shows as this is a non-permissible coat color."

Khaleesi was bred by King's breeding company, which "prioritizes health and temperament" and ensures "each cat receives the love and attention it deserves."

"Khaleesi is more than just a viral sensation," King said. "She's a cherished family member. Her playful antics and gentle demeanor bring joy to everyone she meets, and we are grateful for the opportunity to share her with the world."
