Laughter As Dog Raised by Cats Acts Just Like Them: '10/10 Loaf'
Would you describe yourself as a cat person or a dog person? For those who can't decide, one dog has proven that the lines between the two can be blurred.
Kila, a 3-year-old miniature Australian shepherd and heeler mix, has captured hearts with his adorable cat-like antics after being "raised by cats."
In a video on TikTok with more than 700,000 views, Kila displays behavior typically associated with cats: curling up tightly in small spaces, sitting elegantly atop the back of the couch, and even playing with a laser pointer.

"He's just a dog living in a cat's world," read the caption on the now-viral video shared by Kila's owner, Marie, who lives in Southern California.
Marie, who didn't share her surname, is the proud owner of three cats—Sierra, Raven, and Everest. She explained that Kila has always acted more like a feline than a canine. "We had cats when we brought him home as a puppy, so his playmates and cuddle buddies have always been our cats," she told Newsweek. "One kitten we fostered at the time, Mini, especially bonded with him. I think growing up around them and seeing them do certain things just made him that way."
Kila, who also enjoys squeezing into tiny cat beds despite having a large dog bed of his own, has adopted the cats' tendency to lounge wherever he pleases—even if it means sitting in Marie's lap or perching on furniture like his feline companions.

"I really didn't know it would get as many views as it's getting. It's fun to read the stories in the comments about other dogs who act like cats or vice versa."
In the comments, people shared their reactions to Kila's antics.
