Goose Thinks Owner Is His Wife in Hysterical Video: 'No Personal Space'
A goose's affection for his owner has become a viral sensation after he was captured staring intently into her eyes akin to how lovers look at each other.
The goose, named Glen, has been making waves on TikTok for his comically intense fondness for his owner, Shirley. The short clip, shared by Shirley on August 23 under the handle @glen_and_honk, has been viewed more than 1.7 million times, leaving viewers in stitches over Glen the Scottish goose's antics and unmistakable devotion.
Viewers were able to see Glen staring intently at Shirley while another goose, named Honk, stood by her side.
An overlaid text on the video read: "If your man doesn't look at you the way Glen looks at me, you don't want it,"
The video plays against romantic country song, to accentuate the funny moment and highlight Glen's seemingly romantic obsession.
Shirley, Glen's owner, manages the TikTok account and regularly shares the endearing and sometimes ludicrous moments that occur while looking after Glen and Honk. The creator has been open on the platform about how Glen has supposedly grown fond of her, often displaying behaviors that suggest he considers her his mate.
In a previous video, shared to the platform in 2022, Glen was seen building a nest around Shirley after she fell asleep on the grass. The geese's owner has since garnered a following of over 520,000-plus users on the platform, as people from across the globe tune in to witness the comical relationship dynamics that play out in her videos.
Viewers online have been led to laughter after this latest installment of Glen staring adoringly at Shirley gained traction on TikTok. More than 1,230 viewers have left their funny takes on the moment in the comments section.
"Glen looks at you like my husband looks at me when I hurt myself doing something I should not be doing," one viewer, @lean3_mushu_and_mommy, said.
Another, known on the platform as Eden Powell, added: "Ma'am Glen looks like he wants to peck your face."
"He has a fascination with eyelashes," Shirley responded. "But he's very gentle."
A third viewer, @georgialib.jen, shared: "My husband gives me that look all the time. It's the look that says, 'I think you might be crazy, but I love you anyway.'"
The post was captioned: "There is no personal space with Glen and Honk and it turns out I'm still no.1."
