Dog's Sulking Over Sibling's Bandage Has Internet in Stitches
A dog's reaction to feeling "left out" after seeing her sibling get a bandage wrapped around her paw has left viewers online in hysterics.
The amusing relationship between the samoyed and her sibling, who is another breed, became evident when the samoyed started sulking after seeing her sibling's paw wrapped around in a bandage by their owner. The female dog had begun to feel jealous after catching sight of her sister in the new dressing.
Their owner captured the samoyed's comical upset at not having her paw bandaged and shared it to TikTok under the handle @babybearyuki on September 27. The short clip has since been viewed more than 874,000 times and has melted viewers' hearts online.
The video showed the white Samoyed lying down with a visibly upset expression after spotting her owner wrapping her sibling's paw up in a small bandage. Keen to get the same treatment as her sister despite her lack of a paw injury, the pup came forward for her owner to give her paw a bit of attention, too.
The post had been captioned: "My dog felt a little left out."
The dog was captured on camera smiling, with her tail wagging in a visible sign of happiness, after she, too, was able to walk around with a small bandage.
An overlaid text on the video read: "My dog felt left out whenever her sister got her bandage changed, so of course we had to make her feel included, instantly happy again."
The short clip played against a cover of "Linger" by The Cranberries.
Viewers online have gushed over the sweet bond between the pair, with many pointing out the samoyed's happiness after getting her own badge of honor in the matching bandage.
"The joy in her eyes is everything," one viewer, @justmestitch, said.
Another TikToker known on the platform as Alison Milton commented: "The things we do for our little floofs."
"They really are like kids lol," a third viewer, @melissamariecastro, wrote.
TikTok user @schimmiedoingschit commented: "One of my dogs needs ear drops and the other 'gets them too' or she is sad."
