Woman Tries To Leave House, but Her Cat Has Other Plans: 'Call The Police'

In a hilarious TikTok video, a woman's attempt to leave her house is repeatedly thwarted by her cat who is determined to stop her from leaving the house.

Shared on TikTok on Tuesday by user @4h4f1, the video shows the woman trying to grab her car keys off the table, but her orange cat has other plans for her. The feline firmly leans on the keys and hisses whenever she reaches for them, making it clear that leaving is not an option.

The humorous scene highlights cats' intelligence and the attachment they can have toward their owners. According to BondVet, cats possess complex brains that enable them to solve problems, remember past events, and understand human emotions. The article says that cats are smart animals, and their intelligence is comparable to that of a 2-year-old child.

The website explains that cats have excellent short- and long-term memories, and they can learn through observation, such as ringing bells or opening doors, and they recognize their names, Some of the smartest breeds include Bengals, Siamese, and Abyssinians, but individual intelligence varies.

Moreover, cats are smart enough to make their own decisions, and aren't as easily influenced by social rewards as their canine counterparts.

They also have a sort of natural internal clock that tells them when to hunt and when to rest, although they're also smart enough to readjust their natural behaviors according to our daily routines.

The video quickly went viral on social media, getting viewers from across TikTok. It has so far received over 2.1 million views and 510,800 likes on the platform.
