Woman Desperate to Own a Cat Reveals Why the 'Dream' Is Now Over

The senior female cat, who appears to be named Aurora, was filmed giving her owner a less than impressed look in one clip, before the video transitioned to a second one of the feline staring devilishly at the camera lens.

Another clip showed the feisty pet gently pawing her owner away, as if to tell them to leave her alone, while another bit of footage captured the feline baring her sharp teeth at her owner in what appeared to be a small tantrum.

Overlaid text on the video read: "When it was your dream to get a cat, but you end up with this."

More than 16,000 viewers on TikTok have taken to the comments section to share their amusement and delight at the video—and voice their funny takes on the cat's peculiar personality.

"Grey tabby cats are always like this," said one viewer, @beauxxbombshell.

Another, @geminisiendoleo, added: "Be patient. Sometimes those cats ends up being a cuddle buddy after years. Just be tolerant. Give space and be patient."

"But when a grumpy cat lets you pet them or sleeps by you it's the best feeling ever," a third viewer, @mark.questionn, shared.

"I grew up with a cat that only liked my mom," another, @user84237965784, said. "She'd attack anyone else who tried to pet her. She lived for almost 20 years fueled by hate."

"I heard that cats copy the personality of the owner," another, @whysosalty77, added.

Another, @jesshinsliff, said: "You don't always get the cat you want, but you get the one you need."
