Owner's 'Nightly Battle' To Get Dog Out of Her Bed Has Internet in Stitches

A dog owner's "nightly battle" with their pet over their bedtime routine has left viewers online in stitches.

The dog, a female Jack Russell terrier named Pip, has to her owner's displeasure, developed a tendency to try to stay in her bed every night. Pip's owner shared her daily ordeal to TikTok, which involves trying to coax Pip into leaving her bed and accepting her dog bed for the night.

The video was posted on September 17 by @boyciethebulldog1, and has been viewed almost 1 million times. Newsweek reached out to @boyciethebulldog1 for more information via TikTok.

Viewers were able to see Pip clinging to her owner's cozy bedsheets, while her owner attempted to pick her up to try to get her into her own bed. Reluctant to move, and clearly sleepy, Pip was filmed simply yawning at her owner and ignoring her requests to change beds. She then let out an angsty growl to indicate that she did not want to be moved from her favorite evening spot.

The owner's struggle played out until the end of the short clip, and it was clear to viewers on TikTok that they were unable to get Pip up with ease. An overlaid text on the video reads: "The nightly battle to get Pip in her own bed."
