Watch Difference in How Sheepadoodle Plays With Adults v. Puppy—'So Gentle'

Hearts quickly melted over a dog's ability to switch gears while playing with adult canines versus puppies.

Snoopy the sheepadoodle—a crossbreed of old English sheepdogs and poodles—can't get enough of playing tug-of-war. She'll hold onto one end of the rope as another dog grabs the other and once they both have it, she forcefully moves her head from side to side with all her might. Not holding anything back, she's determined to get the rope from the other dog. At least that's what it looks like when Snoopy plays with adult dogs.

However, a September 30 Instagram video posted to the account @peanuts_puppers, shows Snoopy adjusting her play method when her little puppy sibling got involved. Snoopy gently brought the tug-of-war rope over to the puppy, patiently waited for her to grab on and then started playing. It wasn't her normal tug-of-war game where she usually goes full steam ahead. Instead, she slowly paraded around the room as the puppy held on.

The caption reads: "Still so gentle. Such a sweet girl."

Snoopy could sense the pup was too young to be swung from side to side attached to the rope. And it wasn't just because of the puppy's size. Snoopy kicked it into high gear while playing with a small, yet fully grown adult dog. She somehow knew not to get aggressive with the puppy.

"I will say I was definitely ready to step in and held my breath for a second," the owner told Newsweek via Instagram. "Snoopy is pretty serious about tug of war! But when I saw how gentle she was, my worry turned into awestruck. Dogs are incredible."

By the looks of it, Snoopy's gentleness kept the puppy excited and willing to play along. But as soon as that puppy becomes an adult, Snoopy likely won't take it easy anymore.

The Instagram clip quickly became a hit, bringing in over 5.1 million views, 609,000 likes and 2,027 comments as of Friday.

"She's training her to become the world's best tug-of-war buddy," commented an Instagram user.

A viewer joked: "Gordon Ramsay with his adult cooking show vs the kids version."

A third person pointed out: "And you could definitely say it's not a size thing because she went all in with that little small white dog. They definitely can tell when it's a baby versus an adult."
