Woman Attempts To Get in the Car With Bulldog, but He Has Other Plans

A spoiled French bulldog went viral for his shenanigans after his owner shared a clip of him misbehaving on TikTok, and the internet users can't stop laughing at how naughty he is.

The hilarious video shared in August by @millyrosepowell, shows the pup, Tanki, from Manchester in the United Kingdom, chilling under his owner's car, refusing to leave, despite her several attempts at getting him out. Tanki can be seen running from one end of the car to the other, all to avoid his owner, who is trying her best to get him out of there, even using a cardboard stick to scare him out, unsuccessfully.

In the end, after countless failed attempts, the poster resorted to turning the car engine on and honking the horn to get him to come out of there. Newsweek reached out to @millyrosepowell for comment via TikTok comments. We could not verify the details of the case.

However, Tanki is not the only Frenchie with an attitude; in fact, after the post went viral, many internet users shared their own frustration with their pup's behavior.

One user, John Baker, commented: "Why are they like this."

User5050500422614 posted: "Only people with French bulldogs would get this biggest diva dogs ever."

Zoxox added: "My Frenchie makes me want to cry on a daily with stress, he's not very demure, definitely not mindful."

But what is it that makes French bulldogs so stubborn and feisty? An article by Covetrus Great Pet Care, medically reviewed by Dr. Elizabeth Racine, says that these behaviors can be natural for this breed, but there are things you can do to help overcome them.

Providing them with enough exercise throughout the day is a great way to start. This will tire them out, and leave them little energy to misbehave. But, if the problem continues, you can try fix it with training. Lots of patience and positive reinforcement always go a long way with dogs.

French bulldogs are not only known for their attitude but also for their breed-specific health issues. As flat-faced dogs, they are very prone to breathing difficulties, but they are also at risk of neck and spinal issues, skin allergies, birthing complications and anesthesia complications.

These health conditions, which affect French bulldogs disproportionately compared to other dogs, have caused concern to scientists at the Royal Veterinary College University of London, who wrote an article encouraging the public to "stop and think before buying a flat-faced dog."

The video quickly went viral on social media and has so far received over 1.5 million views and more than 78,000 likes on the platform.
