Pet Pig Breaks Into Garage, Gets 'So Drunk' on Owner's Beer

A couple who celebrated the Fourth of July and forgot about the cases of beer in their garage were reminded where they stored the beverages after their pet pig had a party all to herself.

Morgan Mullins, 33, lives in Gill, Colorado, and is the proud owner of Strawberry, a 7-year-old Juliana pig whom she described to Newsweek as the "love of our life."

"Her best friend is a duck—at least the duck thinks so—and she roams our small hobby farm doing what she pleases," Mullins continued.

Recently, what pleased Strawberry was getting into the garage and breaking into the leftover cases of beer, causing Mullins to find the pet pig a little worse for wear.

On September 6, Mullins posted a video on her @mjaymgee TikTok account that has since gone viral, receiving more than 2 million views and 290,000 likes.

Text overlaid on the clip said it all: "Strawberry got into a case of assorted beers in the garage. She is so drunk."

The video shows Mullins' partner surveying the empty beer boxes, splashes of beer all over the floor and dozens of cans scattered across the garage, plus a duck quacking in the background—just to add to the chaos.

The clip then shows Strawberry, first standing still and vaguely glancing at the camera, before she tries to head to one of her sleeping spots. But it's clear the beer has affected her, as she hesitates, stumbles and trips over her feet as she makes her way to bed.

"She enjoys going in and out of the house as she wants, but she mostly prefers outside," Mullins said, adding that the video was recorded late at night and that they were alerted to the drama by "the duck making a ruckus outside."

"When we went out, we found all the empty beer cans, and then a very drunk Strawberry," she added.

TikTok users were in stitches, with one writing, "That walk back was relatable."

"She's for sure got the spins," another said, as one commenter punned, "HAMmered."

Another user said they "felt that hangover for her."

Mullins told Newsweek that the next morning, she found Strawberry "pushing around the empty beer cans with her snout trying to find a few more drops of beer."

Strawberry is a Juliana pig, which is described by the American Mini Pig Association as resembling a smaller version of a large hog or feral pig, with a straight tail and spotting coloration.

"She seemed to be fit as a fiddle the next morning," said Mullins, whose family runs a small pipe-fitting business. "We got quite a laugh out of it."
