Pet Owner Shares Her WFH Set-Up—and Internet Can't Cope With the Cuteness

A pet owner from Denmark was trying to have a quiet work-from-home day—but both her dog and cat had different plans for her.

In a video shared on TikTok in October under the username @lillelangis, the poster, Anne Sophie Lange, can be seen on her laptop trying to get some work done. However, her golden retriever Lili decides she's had enough, and stops her to get cuddles.

Meanwhile, on the other side of the laptop, an orange cat, Fox, agrees with her sister, and doubles into their joint effort to get her to log off work and spend time playing with them instead.

"POV: Working form home," read a caption shared with the hilarious video.

Pets don't just stick by us because we provide easy food and shelter, recent studies have proved that they do love us. They even have favorite humans, which are not always the people that care for them 24/7.

If your pet loves you, they will usually try to spend most of their time around you—just like Lili and Fox—wiggle their tail every time they see you, rub their head against you, and will generally act relaxed in your presence.

The human-animal bond is not only beneficial for pets but for us too! The Human Animal Bond Research Institute (HABRI), found that about 98 percent of pet owners worldwide has personally experienced health benefits from having a pet.

About 87 percent have also experienced mental health and/or physical health benefits, including increased happiness, reduced loneliness, and decreased stress.

Moreover, 95 percent of owners consider their pet a part of their family, while 92 percent say there's no reason they would ever be convinced to give up their pet.
