A puppy's sweet ritual before going to bed has warmed the hearts of viewers online.

The 20-week-old dachshund, named Wilma, was captured rounding all her toys up and taking them to bed with her. The short clip, which has been viewed more than 544,000 times, was shared to TikTok by the canine's owner under @welpe.wilma on October 6.

The puppy's clear attachment to her stuffed toys has sparked widespread amusement, with many people voicing their delight in the comments.

TikTok users were able to see the female dapple dachshund pulling a large teddy bear off the headboard of a bed, and carrying it with her mouth to a soft blanket, which appears to be where the dachshund sleeps or snoozes before being taken to her bed. Once the teddy bear had been placed further down the bed, on the blanket, Wilma then went back towards the headboard to gather more of her toys up and get them further down the bed.

An overlaid text on the video read: "POV: [Point of view] Every night before going to sleep, she takes her friends to bed."

Dachshunds, despite their small size and short stature, are renowned for their playful and affectionate nature. These spirited dogs are always up for a game, often possessing an endless enthusiasm for playtime that stems from the origins as hunting companions.

Their lively disposition is complemented by their grand love of toys. These dogs are frequently found chasing after squeaky toys, tugging on ropes, or engaging in fetch, making them a constant source of joy and entertainment for their families.
