Dog Angry at Owners Ordering Another Drink Past Bedtime Delights Internet
Dogs thrive on consistency and predictability, which is why they value their daily routine and don't particularly welcome unnecessary changes to it.
A little poodle has left social media viewers laughing at its reaction to its owners' disruption of its bedtime routine.
In a video shared last Thursday on TikTok under the username maya_bekhazi, the small brown poodle can be seen staring at its owners with an angry look as they sit in a restaurant having drinks while she just wants to go to bed.
The hilarious clip's caption says: "It's 32 minutes past bedtime and they order one more drink."
Dogs love to sleep and usually do so for 11 to 13½ hours a day. However, they don't all sleep at the same time. Puppies usually sleep more during the day and less at night, while most adult dogs usually sleep between 8 p.m. and 8 a.m., according to the Sleep Foundation.
Dogs that don't get enough sleep are less happy and relaxed than those that do. As with humans, signs that your dog is not getting enough sleep include more intense reactions to stressful stimuli, irritability and mood disturbances, and poor memory.
The video quickly went viral and has received over 439,200 views and 32,600 likes.
One user, MistyNovemberDay, commented: "My doodle has picked up his poodle mom's judgemental side as well. He stays making me feel guilty."
Another, Wanderlust_junkie, said: "If he could have called an Uber he was so gone!" And bokuka_2021 said: "Guys...Did you forget about my evening routine????"
