Hysterics at Dog's Reaction When She Realizes It's Not Mom Holding Leash
A dog's priceless reaction to an unexpected revelation during her daily walk has gone viral on social media, leaving the internet in stitches.
The video, shared on TikTok on Thursday by @lunlun.lab, features Luna, a 3-year-old chocolate Labrador retriever, who notices something is not right during her walk.
Initially, Luna can be seen enjoying her walk when she suddenly looks up and realizes that the person holding her leash isn't her mom. At that point, her expression changes, and she can be seen grabbing the leash from her spare human and bringing it to her mom.
The poster, Emerald, 39, from British Columbia, Canada, told Newsweek that Luna, also known by her playful nickname "Lunlun," is a sweet dog who loves to cuddle and play at the dog park. However, she will not allow anyone other than her mom to walk her.
"She would not allow anyone except me to walk her," Emerald explained. "This is something I did not teach her. It just came out one day and I've noticed she hates it. She will try and give me back her leash every time someone else is walking her."
Luna's attachment to her mom is so strong that she even dislikes when Emerald lends her belongings to others.
"There was one time my friend forgot his dog leash, and I had to let him borrow Luna's spare leash for his dog. It was a very chaotic walk as Luna kept trying to get her leash back from the other dog," she said.
According to pet service company Rover, dogs often choose their favorite person based on who spends the most time with them, providing attention and positive experiences.
The video quickly went viral on TikTok, receiving over 2.1 million views and 272,800 likes on the platform so far.
