"Bathing a cat is a two person job," one commenter said.

Others were concerned about the cat's reaction.

"I feel ppl don't realize how badly hurt cats can get in this situation. They are in panic and absolute survivor mode they can srsly injure themselves in the escape, slipping, or running into things," a commenter wrote.

"I have 8 cats and in 10 years I never had to bathe one of them... You really shouldn't, unless they are so dirty that there is no way they can clean them selves," said a commenter.

"He warned you but you didn't listen," another wrote.

"I thought he was saying to himself to stay calm idk cat," the pet's owner responded.
