Woman in Shock As Cat Beats Her in a Board Game: 'Skilled'
A woman has gone viral after she was filmed losing a game of skill—to a cat.
Madison Soliday shared a video of a high-stakes family board game night to her TikTok account @msoliday on June 23, where black cat Teddy easily came out on top.

In the clip, captioned with the hashtag "Skilled cat," a woman plays a simple ring toss game with the cat, where the goal is to throw a ring on a chain and get it to land on a hook.
As she visibly panics, laughing and shouting while repeatedly missing the hook, Teddy pulls back once, chews on the ring for good measure, then lets go—with the ring landing on the first try.
Mortified, she buries her face in her hands, and the instant loud reaction from the woman and those behind the camera shocks Teddy into sitting down, bewildered.
Soliday's video has gone massively viral, with 9.3 million views and close to 2 million likes in just a matter of days, with TikTok users in bits laughing at the situation.
One wrote: "The patience, the focus. Teddy lined up the shot and took it. You were outmatched from the start."
Another agreed: "This play is actually insane. he gave you much more time to sink the shot, thus further solidifying his superiority."
And as one person put it: "The panic knowing you were up against a master."
Soliday later shared a video update sharing that the super-sporty Teddy also plays fetch, and her skills aren't contained to the ring toss games.
She also clarified that Teddy is, in fact, a girl, and that she "had to set the record straight" as everyone "thinks she's a boy."
Cat toys are widely available for pets, with balls, feathers and strings natural favorites for the innate hunters.
The American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (ASPCA) also recommends making your own toys for your felines, from building a tunnel or maze out of cardboard boxes, a handmade toy to bat around using toilet paper rolls, or creating scratch posts from old pieces of carpet.
Some cats are naturally more playful than others, and some may even need another pet to teach them how it's done. One former street cat who was adopted into a woman's home recently went viral when his new sibling was recorded teaching him how to play.
A video shows black cat Dobby chirping and mewling at his new brother, encouraging him to play by running away and then running back toward him, before flopping on the ground and hitting out with his paws.
Former colony cat Deek appears wary but interested, slowly following his new brother and watching his chirping brother, but not quite ready to jump into playing just yet.
