Two Cats 'Holding Tails' to 'Birds of a Feather' Reshared by Billie Eilish

A pair of cats called Cherry and Sushi have melted hearts on social media after their owner captured the sweetest moment between them on camera.

In a video, shared on TikTok in June, under the username .thalia.18, the felines are filmed sitting by a glass door, bird-watching together, locking their tails around each other as "Birds of a Feather" plays in the background.

The sweet clip immediately went viral on social media, and even Billie Eilish, the singer behind the hit number released in May of this year, reposted it on her account.

Cats are known for being socially flexible creatures, and while some may be perfectly fine on their own, others do feel the need to have a companion who understands them in ways that we can't.

Pet wellness experts at Rover state that if your cat needs a feline companion, there will be signs. The most common signs include being extra clingy, spending more time grooming than they usually do, or experiencing changes in their eating or sleeping patterns.

Some felines may also show changes in energy levels and others may even start displaying litter issues. Often a cat that needs more company will also become more talkative, as if trying to voice their need to you.

According to Catster, getting two cats doesn't require much more work than getting one, as they are usually fed at the same time and will probably use the same litter. Plus it helps reduce loneliness for your kitty.

The only downside is that it may cost a little more, in terms of food, vet bills, and vaccinations, and you run the risk of the two kitties not getting along if they're not introduced properly.
