Hysterics at How 'Hungover' Family Entertains Energetic Dog
A dog's ecstatic reaction to his family serenading him while hungover has delighted viewers online.
The pup had been captured sitting on his hind legs while waving his paws around gleefully, as his family clapped their hands and sang to him in unison. The moment, which has been viewed more than 12.1 million times, had been shared to TikTok on July 1 by the dog's owner, who is known as @lolobethadventure online.
Although the family's chant of choice—which featured the phrase "pishy boy"—was a hit with their pet, some viewers online have questioned what the label could mean.
Viewers were able to see the white dog sitting on a blue couch nearby members of his family. The two women in shot could be seen hyping the canine up by chanting an upbeat tune and clapping their hands.
They could be heard singing, "he is a pishy boy," repeating each sentence a number of times while the pet waved his paws around freely—and in remarkable synchronicity as if to imitate his family.
An overlaid text on the video read: "POV: [Point of view] You're hungover and this is how your family entertains the dog."
Despite captioning the post, "help," the dog was clearly enjoying the unexpected singalong. The pet was filmed baring his teeth in what appeared to be a smile, and lapping up all the attention as his family spontaneously burst into song.
The Internet's Reaction
The video quickly went viral after being shared to the platform three days ago. It has amassed more than 2.4 million likes, while 3,800-plus viewers have shared amused comments and debated what a "pishy boy" really is.

"[I don't know] what a pishy boy is but I can only think of it as the highest honor," a third user, @gogurtlord73, shared.
Another, @nicoleeg12x, added: "I won't tell you what this means in Scotland."
"Who is hungover? Y'all or the dog? He looks like he's a rager too," another comment read.
"Why does he have such good rhythm," another user, @amygilhoi, added.
