All dogs have their favorite person and sometimes, it can be painfully obvious when you're not it. Molly, a Great Pyrenees from Michigan, looked visibly upset when her mom came through the door and the person she was most excited to see wasn't there.

A video shared on TikTok in June, under the username kathisfosters, shows the pup sitting by the door, looking very disappointed after seeing her owner come through by herself, with no one else following.

"When you come home and your dog watches for someone more exciting to come in," reads a caption shared along with the hilarious clip.

The poster, Kathi Valeii, told Newsweek that Molly was probably looking for her partner or one of her kids, although she was surprised by her behavior.

"I'm not sure if she was looking for James after I came in or one of my kids, but she clearly thought someone better was going to follow. This was especially comical since I've always been her person. Clearly, I've been taken down a peg," she said.

Valeii and her family have had Molly since 2020 when they took her in from the Muskegon Humane Society. She was heartworm-positive and weighed only 38 pounds at 2 years old. Now she is a healthy 65-pound dog.

"Molly occasionally reluctantly shares her space with other dogs we foster, and this clip just happens to be shortly after our most recent foster, Jenny, who we had for six months, went to her forever home," Valeii said.

"A couple of months into fostering Jenny, Molly decided she didn't like Jenny, so we kept them separate most of the day—Jenny stayed in my office with me, and Molly stayed in my partner James' office with him."

It's normal for dogs to have a favorite person to hang out with, and it's usually based on how much quality time they spend together. However, this preference is not permanent and can be easily changed with some treats and extra attention.

The video quickly went viral on social media, getting viewers from across TikTok. It has so far received over 89,000 views and 16,400 likes on the platform.

One user, Hollie, commented: "I mean are you ABSOLUTELY sure no one else is coming???"

Isabellabing said: "Can you just check one more time, to be definitely sure."

Yari Ruiz added: "This is disappointing. Are we sure that you're ALL I'm getting?"
