Hearts around the world have well and truly been melted by a viral video showing the moment a huge American bully dog came nose to beak with two tiny ducklings, and he was completely mesmerized.

It would be easy for a creature as small as a duckling to be terrified of a large dog coming toward them, but TikTok user @cowgirl.brit, whose name is Brittany, showed that certainly wasn't the case. She posted an adorable clip showing her American bully watching the ducklings eagerly and being incredibly gentle with the tiny creatures.

Since the sweet video was shared on July 22, it has delighted social-media users and gained over 4.3 million views and more than 151,100 likes on TikTok. The caption alongside it reads: "But aren't they so cute." There is certainly no doubt the dog thinks so.

Given the difference in their size, it is easy to expect the pup to be the dominant force between them. However, in this moment, it was the ducklings who showed their superiority as they appeared to splash the dog in the face. The poor pup simply looked up at his owner before moving away to a safer distance.

Despite being renowned for their muscular physiques, there is more to American bully dogs than just power and strength. The American Kennel Club (AKC) says that the breed also has a very loving and friendly attitude to those around them.

They were typically bred as utility dogs to work on the farm, so it may come as no surprise to see this pup being ever so gentle toward wildlife.

While they can be very protective of their home, personal property, or their family, they are also known for being fun-loving pets, too. Indeed, American bully dogs don't want to work all day long; the AKC says that they have an almost clown-like behavior when they get overly excited and happy.

No doubt owners are familiar with their goofy antics and constant silliness.

How Did TikTok React?

This certainly wasn't the first time @cowgirl.brit showed how gentle her dog is around the ducklings, as she has shared several videos showing the unlikely friends together.

Internet users can never get enough of seeing their interactions, and the latest clip has generated more than 4,300 comments on TikTok at the time of writing.

One comment reads: "He looks sooo confused and interested, soo cute."

Another TikTok user wrote: "The way he looks at you when they splash him."

"Awwwww this is precious," added a third.

Another comment reads: "He's trying to figure out. is it a friend or food? smells like chicken?!"
