A cat has left the internet in stitches with her amusing method of waking up her owner each morning.

The footage pans across the woman's bedroom before revealing the culprit. King Bobbins, the cat, is sprawled out on top of her, breathing directly into her face.
The strong scent of salmon on a cat's breath can be quite the morning surprise. While a cat's fishy breath might seem alarming, it's actually quite common due to their diet and natural oral bacteria, according to Animal Dental Care and Oral Surgery, based in Colorado.
According to the pet publication The Wildest, cats often enjoy sleeping on their humans. They curl up close for warmth and comfort, or they might be claiming you as their territory. This behavior not only reflects their affection but also their desire for companionship and security—especially when it's breakfast time.

Bobbins was likely trying to get his owner's attention for her first meal of the day.
For some pet owners, though, it's just part of the charm. Cat lovers on Instagram could relate to this quirky, albeit fishy, morning routine.
"The cutest stinkiest breath ever," one user commented. "Their breath be soo fishy," said another commenter.
An Instagram user named Julie humorously imagined the cat saying: "Breakfast please - I'll just pat you on the eye with my soft paw."
Other pet owners users chimed in with their own experiences.
"My cat wakes me up if I'm late on breakfast by dropping pieces of cardboard on my face," shared one. Another viewer nostalgically remarked, "Know this feeling. The smell of fish brings joy."
And some cat parents even welcomed it as part of their morning routine, with one saying, "I love my kitty's stinky breath. It gives me comfort."
Suzanne, another commenter, summed it up perfectly: "Why worry about salmon breath when you can enjoy this sweet face??!!"
