Owner Soon Realizes She Will Not Be 'Forgiven' for Sending Pets to Cattery
It's not that owners want to drop their pets off with friends or take them to day care; they sometimes have to when they go on vacations because many places are not pet-friendly. And no matter what option an owner decides on, pets will gladly take their sweet time to forgive them.
TikTok user @kerriprince_ brought her cats to a cattery, a boarding facility that houses felines, as a last-resort option since she wouldn't be home. Since she dropped off all three cats at the cattery, she thought they would have strength in numbers and be less lonely, she said in the comments section of her May 8 TikTok video.
However, when she approached their room at the cattery to pick them up, she quickly learned they weren't happy with her decision. Their wide eyes stared her down through the glass with annoyance and disbelief. It's as if they were saying, "How dare you?"
The overlaid text on the video reads: "Picking the cats up from the cattery...I don't think I'm forgiven yet."
Thankfully, the cats had each other while in the cattery. They roamed the facility, the owner said in the comments. Plus, there was plenty of playtime for the cats. They get put back in their rooms when visitors come or owners return.
But these three cats truly wanted to be in the comfort of their own home, and their faces of disappointment will make it much harder for this owner to leave them again.
She commented that her cats were "a bit needy for a while" when they returned home. They eventually settled down and got used to being back. She even added that they have been more affectionate since leaving the cattery.

Viewers couldn't stop laughing at the TikTok clip, which has amassed nearly 400,000 views and over 46,300 likes.
"They be like, 'Who are you?!'" commented one viewer, while a second joked: "Well look what the cat dragged in!"
Another added: "We haven't had a full family holiday for 13 years because we can't face putting the cat in a cattery. Someone has to stay behind with her."
Luckily, not all of the cats were holding grudges. A TikToker pointed out: "One of them slow blinked though!"
