Owner Can't Understand How Dogs Are Getting Through Gate-so Sets Camera Up
The way that two dogs went about opening a locked gate together behind their owner's back has delighted viewers online.
The video, shared by the pets' owner under @goldensdigger on June 15, captured the two resourceful canines ingeniously opening a stair gate that their owner had carefully closed to confine them. This short clip has garnered over 71,660 likes, and has amazed viewers with the clever antics of these determined dogs.
The video opened with an overlaid text that read, "I put the dogs behind the gate but somehow they kept coming out and I couldn't understand how they got out until I set my camera up."

Viewers can see one of the two dogs succeeding in its attempt to open the stair gate. The footage shows it biting the handle of the stair gate and pulling it open with surprising dexterity.
The post is humorously captioned: "Wow. Unbelievable. I couldn't understand until I recorded."
One of the dogs is a cream-colored golden retriever, which are renowned for their intelligence and resourcefulness, traits that make them particularly adept at problem-solving. Originally bred as gun dogs to retrieve game for hunters, golden retrievers possess sharp instincts and an eager-to-please nature. "That looks like a [German shepherd and Labrador] mix (not sure if this is accurate) but having had both I can't think of no more fearsome opponent.
