Woman Wanted Goofy Golden Retriever, Gets Dog With Attitude Problem Instead
Golden retrievers are one of the most popular dog breeds, and people are drawn to them for their friendly demeanor. But one owner quickly realized she didn't bring home the goofy and happy-go-lucky canine she expected.
Bentley doesn't wear a giant smile on his face like a typical golden. Instead, the owner noticed the dog was constantly sporting a "resting b**** face." RBF is an unintentional facial expression that gives the impression the person is annoyed, angry or irritated.Bentley ditched the friendly, easygoing personality and went full steam ahead with his RBF in a July 30 Instagram clip posted to the account @lifewithabentleyy. It didn't matter where Bentley was. He rocked the RBF through it all: on walks, in the car, at home and even next to his owner.
And it's not just that her dog has an RBF. In the caption, the owner says he has "a BIG attitude problem."
Bentley squinted his eyes in every clip, with his lips tightly sealed. He was annoyed through every part of it, or at least that's what his RBF made it seem like.
In other videos posted to the dog's Instagram account, the owner showed Bentley isn't serious 24/7. She does get affection from her dog whenever she wears expensive skin care products or makeup. Not ideal, but it's better than nothing.
Additionally, Bentley's RBF could be due to his sound phobia which his owner explained in a separate video. Dogs can be triggered by specific sounds, which can make them nervous and hesitant. Knowing Bentley is scared of city noises in Toronto, she drives him to quieter parts to walk him.

'Cat Levels of Judgment'
The clip has received over 695,000 views and 56,300 likes, and Instagram users couldn't get over this dog's serious attitude.
"Never seen a dog judge someone harder," commented one viewer. Another added: "Didn't even know RBF goldens existed, but love it."
A third pointed out: He is reaching cat levels of judgment, that is mighty impressive in a dog."
Another said: "He looks like he's been through life a time or two."
Others thought the dog might make this face because he's older, but the owner said he is only 2. He must've been born with attitude.
