What Golden Retriever Finds in Her Yard Melts Hearts
A dog owner spotted their golden retriever staring at one spot in their garden, and when they went over to check what caught the dog's attention, they couldn't believe what they saw.
In a video shared on TikTok earlier in August, under the username @chasing_polys, the pup can be seen staring at a particular spot in the backyard fence, as her owner walks closer to her to see what's going on.
"Walked over to see what my dog was staring at," reads the text in the clip. As the camera gets closer to the spot, some movement in the area can be detected. It was an ant colony, trying to take away a fallen leaf. "How did she even see them," reads a caption shared along with the viral video.

An ant infestation in your lawn can be a pain, but there are ways to avoid it. Country Living magazine says you should check for nests all around your garden, eliminating any.
It is also important to keep your bins empty and clean, free of any food juices that attract all kinds of insects and pests. If your yard also has plant litter, such as fallen branches, piles of leaves, grass cuttings and decaying logs, it is also best to remove the waste as it will attract ants.
There are also some houseplants that can help keep unwanted insects away, including lavender, basil, rosemary, sage, lemon balm, common marigold, and carnivorous plants such as the Venus fly trap, or Dionaea muscipula.
