Woman Changes Her Voice To Try and 'Trick' Dog, Her Reaction Is Everything

A woman has gone viral for playfully changing her voice to see how her dog would react.

Helen, who lives in New York, is the proud owner of Pomsky dog Luna and has an entire TikTok account, @mylunatunes, dedicated to her antics.

One particular video has now gone viral as animal lovers were left in stitches by Luna's utterly baffled reaction to her owner's voice suddenly dropping by several octaves. In a clip shared to her page on August 3, Helen wrote: "Sometimes I like to trick my dog that someone else is here by changing my voice."

It showed Helen opening the door to her apartment, walking inside and calling out in a very deep, deadpan voice. And Luna immediately reacted, giving a yap off-screen in a tone that could only be described as shocked and confused.

Helen continues talking, asking: "Hello. What are we going to do? Hi! What should we do?"

As Luna yaps again, she suddenly appears in the doorway, looking at her owner with a confused expression and even wiggling her ears as if to check they are working properly.

Helen laughs, but as Luna continues staring at her, she changes her voice back and assures her, "it's just me!" Finally, the dog relaxes, stretching in the doorway as her owner laughs.

TikTok users were left in bits, with the viral video, with close to 50,000 likes and over 306,000 views, gaining hundreds of comments, with one writing: "I'm crying."

Snowy white pup Luna is a Pomsky, a crossbreed of a Husky and a Pomeranian which has risen in popularity in recent years.

While not yet recognized by the American Kennel Club (AKC), Pomskies are becoming popular family pets, and are described by dog food makers Purina as outgoing, friendly and sociable.

Siberian huskies are known for their high energy and friendly nature, while Pomeranians are popular for their intelligence and suitability as a watchdog, according to the AKC.

In Luna's case, she is an adored pet, with Helen's TikTok account full of the dog's adventures to the park, playground, relaxing in bed and playing with squeaky toys.
