A cat named Roswell has left the internet in hysterics after his owner revealed that he's so obsessed with her husband that he protects him from everything, including herself.
In a hilarious video shared on Instagram on Saturday, under the username @catnamedroswell, the cat can be seen laying on the man's chest, as he sleeps, with his paws stretched around him, as if guarding him from the poster.
"My cat is so obsessed with my husband that he literally lays on him and guards him from me," reads layover text on the clip.

Cats are known for being very picky when it comes to people, and choosing their favorite human involves a combination circumstances, resources and personality.
Pet wellness experts Rover explain that cats may bond with a specific person during early socialization, when they're still kittens, but that's just one of the many ways. And don't worry, it is also possible to bond with adults cats too!

Communication is key when bonding with your cats, and the best way to go about it is to learn how your cat communicates with you and adapt to their communication style.
"That communication style may not include physical touch—being a cat's favorite person doesn't necessarily mean they want you to stroke them. A cat's favorite person may be the one who makes them feel comfortable and safe just by being in the same room with them," the website said.

So what to do if you're not your cat's favorite? Can you become so? Absolutely yes, according to Rover. All you will need to do is feed them, so they associate you with food, play with them, and practice positive reinforcement.
The video went viral on social media, getting viewers from across Instagram. It has so far received over 2.5 million views and 114,532 likes on the platform.
