Shock As Owner Thinks Cat Is Spayed, Then He Gets a Surprise

Viewers joined a cat owner with collective confusion as the owner's spayed cat left a surprise, prompting a new unsolved mystery for TikTok sleuths to figure out.

TikTok user @n0m0ti0n0b1tches has a spayed cat, or what he originally thought to be a spayed cat. Spaying is a surgical procedure that removes a female cat's ovaries and uterus, which stops felines from getting pregnant. PetMD also reported that spaying a cat can eliminate the risk of uterine infections, reduce cat overpopulation, lower the risk of mammary gland cancer and decrease frustrating behaviors when a female cat is in heat.

Whatever the case might've been, this owner's cat was spayed. Or so he thought. However, the July 29 TikTok video revealed that assumption was way off. Speechless and stunned, his cat gave birth to a single kitten.

Even the now-momma cat looked confused. She stayed seated next to the tiny black kitty, but her eyes screamed "What just happened?" She wouldn't even look at her new baby.

Whether this cat owner was ready for the kitten or not, there is no going back. He's been upgraded from a cat dad of one to a whole family with a new set of paws to look after.

In a follow-up video, the owner explained that the cat and kitten are doing fine, although, he is not entirely sure why the kitten is there in the first place. Some viewers believe it was a botched spay surgery or that an ovary was missed.

The shocking revelation of this video quickly gathered people's attention, bringing in over 975,200 views and 163,600 likes as of Friday.

"It's the 'Don't worry about it' face for me," commented a viewer.

Another called the surprise pregnancy "immaculate catception."

This video has unlocked a new fear for some. One person wrote: "New stress to worry about. I have 2 female cats and one male. The male and one female are fixed. The 3rd is still too little... if I have kittens imma be not very happy lol."
